A difficult hand to play with QQ

This is a local brick and mortar tourney. No reads on villain as this is my first hand at the table after being moved. villain is the big stack at the table and likely busted the player who was sitting in the chair i was just moved too.
Blinds are 300/600 no ante
Folded to me in the CO i have 7500 or 12.5 BB. I raise to 1500 w Q Q
villain calls from the button everyone else folds, villain has about 12000 or 20BB.

flop is K35 all spade
villain checks. leaving himself 1400.
i am unsure of what the best play in this spot is? i do not have Kh so im not particularly sure if i shud b cbetting and folding to a raise? and if so whats a good amount? should i just check behind? or jus go 1400 to try to take it down ther or get a call wth a lonely heart?

This is my first entry. I'm not sure if anyone is going to read this or not but I think it's good just to let out my thoughts and try to organize them a little bit.
I've decided now to make poker a much bigger priority in my life. All my free time I want to spend on poker, whether it's playing, sweating, browsing forums, or reviewing play i want to fully dedicate my brain to poker. My goal is to be comfortable at 1/2 by the end of 2012. I plan to write fairly often and post a bunch of graphs. This is very exciting and I'm really looking forward to seeing what other guys who read it think about it.
Anyway, i hope you all enjoy my blog.
